Bouncy Birdy Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller for Bouncy Birdy is Ossiam Lindholm, trading as Ossiam Games, established in Sweden.

2. Information stored locally on the device

Bouncy Birdy stores the following game information locally so that the game can function and remember the player's progress and choices:

• high scores and coin balances;
• owned and selected character skins;
• missions, achievements, rewards, counters, and progression;
• sound and other game settings;
• daily reward status;
• advertising frequency and session state; and
• Remove Ads entitlement status, where applicable.

Ossiam Games does not receive this locally stored game progress. It remains on the device until the player clears the app's storage, uninstalls the game, or the operating system removes it. Local storage that is necessary to provide requested game functions is used for those functions only.

3. Advertising and consent information

Bouncy Birdy uses Google AdMob to provide rewarded and interstitial advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage privacy choices where required. Depending on the player's region, device settings, privacy choice, age-related treatment, and Google's available advertising options, advertisements may be personalised, non-personalised, or limited.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK, UMP, Google, and participating advertising technology providers may automatically collect, receive, store, or share:

• the device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• app and advertisement interactions, including app launches, taps, impressions, and video views;
• diagnostic and performance information, including app or SDK performance and crash-related information;
• device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising identifier where available and permitted; and
• consent status and privacy choices, including consent signals used to communicate those choices to advertising providers.

This information may be used to provide and measure advertisements, limit advertisement frequency, perform analytics related to advertising, maintain service security, and detect or prevent fraud and abuse. Ossiam Games does not currently use a separate external analytics service to receive the locally stored gameplay progress described in section 2.

4. Google Play purchases

Bouncy Birdy may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment. Ossiam Games does not receive the player's full payment card or bank account details.

To start, verify, acknowledge, restore, and prevent misuse of a purchase, the game and Google Play may process information such as the purchased product identifier, purchase state, purchase token, transaction or order identifier where available, acknowledgement state, and entitlement status. The entitlement may also be saved locally on the device. Google may make transaction records available to Ossiam Games through Google Play Console for administration, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance.

Google's handling of payment and Google account information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, personal information is processed for the following purposes and legal bases:

• Providing requested game functions: local game data is used to operate the game, remember settings, preserve progress, and prevent duplicate rewards. This storage is necessary to provide functions requested by the player.
• Advertising and related device access: consent is relied upon where applicable law requires it, including for personalised advertising and relevant storage or access on the device. Google and participating providers may identify additional purposes or legitimate interests in the UMP consent message where permitted by law.
• Limited advertising, security, and fraud prevention: processing may be based on consent where required or on legitimate interests in financing the game, maintaining service security, limiting abuse, and measuring basic advertisement delivery where those interests are not overridden by the player's rights.
• Remove Ads purchase: purchase information is processed as necessary to perform the purchase contract and provide or restore the purchased entitlement.
• Transaction records: relevant records may be processed to comply with accounting, tax, consumer protection, and other legal obligations, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Sharing and recipients

Ossiam Games does not sell players' personal information. Information may be shared with or processed by Google, including Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC as applicable, and authorised advertising technology providers selected or disclosed through UMP. Purchase information is processed through Google Play. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, a binding authority request, or to protect legal rights and service security.

7. International data transfers

Google and participating service providers may process information in countries outside the player's country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, international transfers are protected through mechanisms such as European Commission adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or approved standard contractual clauses. Players may contact Ossiam Games to request further information about safeguards applicable to processing controlled by Ossiam Games.

8. Retention and deletion

• Local game progress and settings remain until the app's data is cleared, the app is uninstalled, or the operating system removes them.
• Local Remove Ads entitlement information remains for as long as needed to recognise the purchase on that installation, subject to clearing or uninstalling the app and restoration through Google Play.
• Transaction and accounting records available to Ossiam Games are retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, consumer protection, chargeback, and legal-claims rules, and are then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
• Google and advertising providers retain information according to their own disclosed retention periods, legal obligations, and user controls.

Because Bouncy Birdy has no player accounts and does not send the local game progress in section 2 to Ossiam Games, Ossiam Games generally cannot identify or remotely delete that local progress. Players can delete it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game.

9. Security

Local game progress is kept within the app's storage on the player's device. Information transmitted by Google services is protected in transit using encryption. Access to transaction information available to Ossiam Games is restricted to authorised access. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Privacy choices and consent withdrawal

Where required, players can make advertising privacy choices through the UMP consent message. A visible Privacy Options entry point is available in the game when required, allowing eligible users to review or change their choices and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Players may also manage or reset the Android advertising identifier through device settings. Refusing or withdrawing advertising consent does not prevent access to the game's core functions, but may result in non-personalised or limited advertisements where permitted. Information necessary to process a requested purchase must be processed to provide that purchase.

11. Children's privacy

Bouncy Birdy is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. The game does not knowingly ask children to submit names, email addresses, dates of birth, or other contact details. If Ossiam Games learns that personal information from a child under 13 has been processed contrary to applicable law, Ossiam Games will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that information where it is within its control.

12. Your data protection rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, players may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of personal information, and the right to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time as described above.

Requests may be sent to ossiamgames@gmail.com. Ossiam Games may need limited additional information to verify and respond to a request. Because Ossiam Games does not receive the local game progress described in section 2, it cannot retrieve that progress from the player's device. Requests concerning information controlled independently by Google may need to be submitted through Google's privacy tools.

Players in the European Economic Area also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

13. Automated decision-making

Ossiam Games does not use Bouncy Birdy data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on players. Where personalised advertising is permitted, Google and participating advertising providers may use information to select advertisements or create advertising profiles as described in the UMP consent message and their privacy information.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Bouncy Birdy's features, service providers, data practices, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page and, where required, additional notice or consent will be provided before the new processing begins.
